Our Confirmation Lenten Retreat was held on Friday 22  and Saturday 23 March 2013.  All of the teens enrolled in the first and second years' confirmation program in the diocese were invited.  Friday evening was held at the Ursuline Convent hall and on Saturday the session took place at St. Dominic's Hall.

Fr. Stan Fortuna led the retreat.  Fr. Stan Fortuna C.F.R. is one of the eight founding members of the Community of Franciscan Friars of the Renewal (an order established in the Archdiocese of New York under the jurisdiction of John Cardinal O'Connor) and a Roman Catholic priest. Prior to his conversion, Fr. Stan was a professional jazz musician.

The teens were treated to a concert/time of ministry on the Friday night and on Saturday they were led to examine their consciences with the assistance of song and interaction between one another.  The day ended with confessions in St. Dominic's church.
