Joseph and The Technicolor Dreamcoat

Picture
Joseph and his brothers
The play is about dreams. The composers thought that only children dream, but they were mistaken. We all dream and this is why this musical and these scripture passages became so popular. We have many dreams because everyday we have to face so many problems at home, at school, at work. We sigh sometimes, if I would only have the dream coat to change my life, to make my dreams real.
Let me ask. What are your particular dreams?
St. Dominic’s Community for example has dreams, one very big dream. We want to build the parish centre where we can come together, be with others, and help each other. We have many plans of what we will do in our centre. We want to use it not only for ourselves but also for the society. There are so many people in need around us.
Our choir has the dream to visit the places where the late Pope John Paul II (soon saint) lived and died. Next year they plan to go there with the pilgrimage, to Poland and Italy, to Rome. For many of them it will be their life journey.
   What are your dreams?
So, how can we fulfil our dreams?
   God works miracles.

I would like to thank all our directors and actors for the tremendous work they have put into the preparation of this musical. Thank you, our guests and viewers.
Thank you for supporting our fundraising.
   May God bless you all,

   Fr. Luke

   Your dreaming pastor,
