Good Friday is a day of mourning and sorrow over the sacrificial death of Jesus Christ and a reminder that the sins of all people made it necessary for him to die in the first place. Itís also a day of gratitude for the supreme sacrifice that Jesus made.
After the Way of the Cross we will watch the Passion Drama with a cast made up of our Sunday School youth, confirmation candidates, some younger children, and some advanced children. There is Jesus emeritus, and two or more surprises. As usual the play was supervised by Fr. Andy supported by Jill, Bernadette, Sara, Alison, Hana and other catechists.
As you already know it wasn't easy to complete the cast this year and therefore I am very grateful to everyone who has been involved in this play.
I would like to thank once again the cast, the whole team for your determination and commitment. Thank you Fr. Andy for inspiring Jill to write the screen play and for overseeing preparations. There were many evenings you have spent in church or in the hall. Thank you to:
Jill Webster Otway, Chantel Mendes, Sarah Clarke, Ana Foster, Stephen Foster, Bernadette Lewis
Thanks also to Brenda Cumberbatch, Jonathan Foster, Brett Cole, Jimmy Clarke, For taking part in the production (Good Friday 2013)
